In Loving Memory of Tom Fischer

Hi Everyone, 

Only a couple of weeks ago, on November 11th, 2021, Thomas Fischer, our dear Head Instructor of Fischer Aviation, died in a horrific plane crash. (Link here).

We, students and alumni of Fischer Aviation, lost a great instructor, dear friend, and mentor.

Jodi and Zach have lost a loving husband and father and are coping with this tragedy.

Tom and Jodi have touched many lives in many ways over the years. They helped countless aspiring pilots meet their goals and make our dream of flying come true.

They’ve done much more than that; they have been great friends offering wonderful support, inspiration, and encouragement. 

Tom had been a mentor, a friend, and an incredible pilot, and flight instructor.

A GoFundMe account has been set up to enable us - alumni, students, friends, and well-wishers to help Jodi and Zach and help plan a celebration of Tom’s life.

The donations will go directly to Jodi (Dornfest) Fischer.
