In loving memory of Trev Day
I have set up this go fund me as a tribute to my dad and best friend “Trev Day” who we all miss so so much.
At this sad time we are all still in so much shock as it was so unexpected, one minute he was ok and then bam came down with an infection which then turned out to be cancer.
“Dad” / “Trev” kind loving funny and generous, always there when you needed him no matter what!! Helping and supporting people his whole life and nothing was ever too much trouble.
we only found out in September that he had cancer and this awful disease took him from us way sooner than we expected. It was the worse experience of my life but the one thing I could give back to him for all the things he had done for me and our family over the years was to be there and help care for him right up to the end, which sadly was only just five short weeks from belong told it was terminal .
Throughout “dads” sort illness he never lost the ability to make us laugh and had his wicked sense of humour right up to the end, even walking with his frame up in the air as he said he didn’t need it!!! But that was just him and he did it his way.
He passed peacefully at home with his family on 9.12.2024 aged 73
The care and support from Emma at the Wisbech based Arthur Rank hospice was second to none and the team of hospice at home carers were invaluable at that time too.
This charity relies heavily on donations, Do you want to join me in making a difference? I'm trying to raise as much as I can for them as our way of saying thankyou and as a special tribute to “Trev”
Every donation no matter how big or small will help go towards someone else’s care and be so appreciated by my family and this wonderful charity.
Thank you in advance for your contribution to this cause that means so much to us.
