In loving Memory of Vicente Calderon

It is with grieving hearts that we announce the untimely death of our father, Vicente Calderon. My father, my heart, my best friend, and the rock of this family has gone to heaven. His loss was unexpected and it is an indescribable experience that has left all of us in complete shock. 

He was a father, grandfather, and a husband, who was our hero. He was the funniest, joyest, and most lovable human being. As a father, he was always taking care of us and even as adults he continued to treat us with love and embraced his daughter-in-laws like his own. He created bonds with each of us that we will never be able to forget. As a grandfather, he loved spending bonding with his grandchildren. They joked, they laughed, they watched movies together, and kept each other company. They instilled everlasting laughter, smiles, and they considered him his “Gup.” That eternal love will carry on as they live their dreams in honor of his memory. As a husband, I can think of no one else that loved my mother so dearly. They laughed, they danced, and they listened to music together. When the time is right, we will have to share this news with my mom, and it’s another ache that we fear as she too is currently hospitalized.

Our father loved gardening and every year he enjoyed his fresh “chiles.” His home was his sanctuary, everyone knew it was hard for him to get out. But, he loved going out with his wife and his grandchildren to visit his loved ones. He was a hard-working man, and even though he was retired he continued his devotion in helping take care of my grandparents. 

We are asking today for your help in giving our father the proper burial. He deserves everything we can give him because he made sure in life that we were well taken care of and never needed anything. Please help us as much as possible. We thank you from the bottom of our hearts. Services will be posted soon. God bless everyone.

Es con corazones afligidos que anunciamos la prematura muerte de nuestro padre, Vicente Calderón. Mi padre, mi corazón, mi mejor amigo y la roca de esta familia se ha ido al cielo. Su pérdida fue inesperada y es una experiencia indescriptible que nos ha dejado a todos en completo shock.


Fue padre, abuelo y esposo, que fue nuestro héroe. Era el ser humano más divertido, alegre y adorable. Como padre, siempre nos cuidó e incluso de adulto continuó tratándonos con amor y abrazó a sus nueras como a las suyas. Creó memorias con cada uno de nosotros que nunca podremos olvidar. Como abuelo, le encantaba pasar la unión con sus nietos.  Bromearon, se rieron, vieron películas juntos y se hicieron compañía. Infundieron risas y sonrisas eternas y lo consideraron su "Gup". Ese amor eterno continuará mientras viven sus sueños en honor a su memoria. Como esposo, no puedo pensar en nadie más que haya amado tanto a mi madre. Se rieron, bailaron y escucharon música juntos. Cuando sea el momento adecuado, tendremos que compartir esta noticia con mi mamá, y es otro dolor que tememos porque ella también está actualmente hospitalizada.


Hoy les pedimos su ayuda para darle a nuestro padre el entierro apropiado. Se merece todo lo que podamos darle porque se aseguró en la vida de que estuviéramos bien cuidados y nunca necesitáramos nada. Ayúdanos tanto como puedas.
