Title: In Loving Memory of Walter Zylinski: Supporting a Family Touched by Tragedy
Dear Friends,
It is with a heavy heart and tearful eyes that we come to you today, seeking your support for the Zylinski family in their time of deepest sorrow. We are gathered here to remember and honor Walter Zylinski, a beloved son, brother, and friend, who tragically lost his battle with depression and took his own life.
Walter's story is one of courage and struggle, of love and loss. As a military veteran who has faced the harsh realities of suicide among fellow service members, I never imagined that I would one day be standing here, grappling with the devastating loss of a dear friend to suicide, outside the military. The pain is raw, the questions are endless, and the grief is overwhelming.
I have known the depths of despair that come with PTSD and severe depression, and I stand in solidarity with those who are left behind, grappling with the aftermath of a loved one's suicide. No family should have to endure the heartache of burying a child, a sibling, a friend lost to the darkness of mental illness.
Today, I ask for your compassion, your empathy, and your generosity. The Zylinski family is faced with the daunting task of arranging a funeral and memorial service for Walter, a burden made heavier by the unexpected costs that accompany such a tragedy. We are aiming to raise $5,000 to help ease the financial strain on his grieving loved ones and provide Walter with the dignified farewell he deserves.
Your donation, no matter the amount, will make a tangible difference in the lives of those who are left behind, grappling with the aftermath of a life cut short. Your kindness will offer a glimmer of light in their darkest hour, a reminder that they are not alone in their grief.
Let us come together as a community, bound by love and empathy, to support the Zylinski family in their time of need. Let us honor Walter's memory by extending a hand of compassion to those who mourn his loss. Together, we can make a difference, one small act of kindness at a time.
Thank you for your support, your kindness, and your generosity. May Walter's spirit live on in our hearts, forever remembered and deeply cherished.
With heartfelt gratitude.
