In Loving Memory of William Prendergast

William was and is many things to many people. A loving husband, father and Opi. A son, a brother, an uncle, a cousin. An excellent friend, a trustworthy confidant, a pretty good golfer, and a neighbour to name but a few of his roles in this world.

But first and foremost we think people will call to mind Bill being a family man who is particularly proud of the ladies in his life (Jill, Carly and Ellie) and would beam telling people of their achievements and their independence.

He valued education and was looking forward to seeing Ellie flourish as he remarked that she was going to follow in her Oma and her mum's footsteps as it is clear that she loves learning and books and being fiercely independent.

Ellie attends Linskill Nursery full-time and will do so until she starts school when she is 4 (she's currently 16 months old). We think it would be extremely fitting that in lieu of flowers we seek to raise funds for play and learning equipment for the nursery that Ellie can also enjoy while she attends nursery and it means he will continue to contribute to her education and development as he has done since the day she was born.
