In Loving Memory of Xao Vang
Donation protected
Xao Vang was a man with a roaring laugh who loved being around his family. Unfortunately, he has left the world on September 29th, 2021 due to liver cancer. He fought very hard to live everyday but the cancer progressed to where the doctors were not able to cure him. He leaves behind his wife and six beautiful children.
Xao was born in Laos and as with many Hmong refugees, settled in the US. Xao Vang resided in Minnesota, where he graduated from Morris High School. After high school, he moved to Mankato, MN and pursued a Bachelors in Physics and Mathematics. During his time in college, he married his wife, Xia Vang, and they later had six children. Even though Xao pursued higher education, he lost everything due to a difficult life obstacle. He later took his family and resided in California.
Xao was an intelligent, wise, caring, selfless, and loving person. Even when he was at his lowest in life, he would still give you the shirt off his back so you can stay warm or give you his last $20 so you can have a good meal. Whenever things gets rough, he always made a positive outcome so life is not wasted.
He has left so many of his loved ones behind, especially his wife and kids who depend on him to survive and make ends meet. Now they are left without their rock and biggest support system. Xao's family would like to reach out and ask for your support and most importantly, your love for him. All proceeds will go towards funeral costs.
Xao, we all will miss your laugh, words of wisdom, and your unconditional kindness.
Funeral will be held October 31st and burial will proceed on November 1st. Funeral home information:
