In Loving Support of Mark Slauenwhite

My name is Vanessa, and I have created this for Dawn, Mark's sister, to assist with immediate expenses that come with the passing of a loved one.

Thank you for taking the time to visit and help in any way you are able to in loving memory of Mark and in support of the sister he held so dearly.

The unexpected and shattering loss of Mark the morning of April 2nd has affected so many. It's easy to say a loved one who has passed will be greatly missed, that they were special in countless ways, and lit up a room as soon as they walked into it in order to beautify their experience on earth. All of these things were not only true for Mark, but can be felt by nearly everyone he encountered.

Mark always believed in a higher power and was drawn heavily towards spirituality and the peace that is brought in that faith. I take comfort in knowing that he was too good for this Earth, and was called to rest early as a gift.

He was the best friend I could have ever asked for from such a fragile age in Highschool and I will always have the memories of music, drives, beach vacations and family. He was my Best Man in my wedding, my Prom date, my best friend, and my brother by choice. He supported my career in the Navy and flew to Florida to watch me promote to Chief in 2019 and I still wear the mariners cross he gave me to match the one his father wore.

We all have fond memories and thoughts of Mark. I invite you to share those here as well for Dawn and others. Thank you.
