In loving support after tragic loss!

Matt Maynard was a friend to some, family to many and a loving father to one special little man! Survived by his only son Damion Maynard. I am taking it upon myself as Damion’s God Mother & someone very close to Matt to raise as much as I can to DIRECTLY benefit Damion as Matt Maynard would have made sure of. The one thing he loved more than anything in this whole world was his little boy, (yes even more than his Jeep) ~Matt would’ve encouraged you to laugh at that joke!~ As many know Ashley and Matt were together a long time and eventually married & shared a deep love & connection.

Even when separated Matt did all he could to support Damion & to be there for him financially & physically. I ask you all to keep in mind that this WILL be the hardest on his son. I sat while he was given the news & it was the most heart wrenching thing I have ever had to encounter. Ashley was a single mother, she is now Damion’s only surviving parent. Things were hard but with Matt’s help she had what she needed for their son. Matt’s income was DIRECTLY going towards his sons needs AS WILL ALL FUNDS RAISED. She faces now no income & a the tragic loss of her sons father. Ashley had no part in this funding process & I hope she sees this & sees how many people are here for not only Damion but her as well! Nothing will ever bring Matt back to us but those who knew him well would know that what he would’ve wanted more than anything… is for us all to RALLY & BE A SUPPORT SYSTEM for his son & the mother of his child.
