Bert Hoff--known to some as Dr. Wonderbread--transitioned this past week, on Tuesday August 3 after a brave fight against cancer. Bert seemed have beaten Stage 3 lung cancer a few years ago, but recently had been diagnosed with liver cancer. He passed less than a week following his first treatment. Please join us in raising money in memory of Bert's legacy. These funds will greatly help to offset funerary and other expenses as a result of his departure. Bert wished to have his ashes spread in one of his favorite places in the North Cascades (Sahale Arm). Cherylynn will be planning a small memorial and trip to bring Bert to his final resting place this Fall. Please consider contributing whatever you can and sharing a brief tribute to Bert here.
