My name is Ashley Collins, a family friend of the Massey’s. With the permission of the family, I’m kicking off a Go Fund Me to help cover the expenses ahead. Donations here will help to cover funeral expenses and be contributed to an education fund for her beautiful kids.
It is with a very heavy heart that we share that, Ashlee Massey (37), passed away this week after a short battle with cancer. Ashlee was born October 28, 1984, in Enid, Oklahoma, the eldest of two daughters of Cherril Hoskins and Ricky Dobbs. She grew up in Kearney and graduated from Kearney High School in 2003. Ashlee was united in marriage to Jake Edward Massey on April 22, 2009, in Kearney. Ashlee is blessed with three children, Maddox Chenoweth (16), Easton Massey (12) and Avery Massey (8). For the past three years, Ashlee had worked as a Preschool Teacher at the Kearney Early Education Center.
A celebration of Ashlee's life will be held Monday, August 29 from 5-7 pm at Park Lawn Northland Chapel, I-35 at State Route 291, Liberty, MO.
