In Memorial of Charles Buffamonte: Memorial Support

Dear Family and Friends,

It is with heavy hearts that we share the sudden loss of our beloved Charles Buffamonte, dearly known as “Chuck”, who passed away on February 19, 2025 in Buffalo, New York.

Chuck’s passing came completely unexpected. The Buffamonte family is mourning and in a tragic state of shock and sorrow as they are navigating a second loss in their family. Their recent loss of their sister and daughter Melissa 5 months ago has left them heartbroken and have not healed from grief.

Chuck had a way of captivating your attention while making you feel seen. He had a warm quality, contagious laugh, and a good sense of humor. He had an esteemed career as a respected guitarist in multiple bands and was immersed in music his entire life.

He took pride in his family, especially all his grandchildren. He loved them dearly and poured so much time and energy in being present for them. He taught them variety of card games and was conscious of always trying to make each feel special. He made efforts to spend holidays with his family and even joined on a few camping trips. His previous triple bypass heart surgery and multiple medical conditions did not stop him from any of this.

This, on top of the family mourning the recent loss of his daughter, Melissa, less than 5 months ago, has been immensely hard on them.

Chuck leaves behind Lisa - the mother of his children, his friend, and wife of 14 years. His children - Shanna and Anthony. His grandchildren - Angel, Elizabeth, Scarlett, Wolf, Zephaniah, Winter, and Violet. He joins his oldest, daughter Melissa, in the arms of Jesus.

As the Buffamonte family navigates through this difficult time, their most recent loss, they are faced with not just emotional loss, but also financial challenges.

We are reaching out to friends and family for support to help the Buffamonte family with flight expenses for Shanna, Anthony, and Lisa, travel fees, and memorial cost.

Any amount of contribution, no matter how small, will be an immense help, and ease some of the financial burden. All contributions will go directly to the Buffamonte family.

We also understand how difficult this may be amid other financial hardships that many people are facing right now. If you would like to keep the Buffamonte family in your prayers for comfort and healing as they grieve the loss of their loved one.
