In Memorial of Kathleen McBride

On the evening of July 7th 2022, Kathleen was taking just another walk in the town she was born and raised in. She was about to cross the street when a van unsafely changed lanes and lost control of the vehicle. Kathleen was suddenly struck by the vehicle before it proceeded to crash into the building near her. Injuries were fatal. Kathleen McBride’s life was possibly taken by drunk driving. She leaves behind a daughter, Erika McBride, 23. The pain of this event will never be something fully healed or understood. Drunk driving completely ruins peoples lives, and it took away a young woman’s mother, best friend, and life line. I urge every single person reading this to remember the tragedy that can be faced by drunk driving. Since the event was so tragic and unplanned, there are no funds for a service or burial plans.
