In Memory of Valentino Alvarez
Donation protected
As many of us know, God will always have their own plan. For reasons not yet known to us, Valentino, at the age of 26, was called Home on March 22, 2024 to serve his Higher purpose. Though we find solace in the fact that he is no longer in pain, and sheds the worries of the human experience, he leaves behind a big void in a loving and loyal family who are very much still in the human experience, and are now having to endure the obstacles and troubles of navigating a proper burial and memorial.
If you know him, you’re fortunate enough to know him. And if you don’t, well…you wouldn’t know that he’s the biggest goofball…with an even bigger heart. He’s gracious and supportive; loving and kind. He’s a big brother, and little brother, a son, a grandson, a cousin, a nephew, a partner, a friend, and so much more. He’s a timid comedian who loves making people laugh, while simultaneously not liking public attention. You wouldn’t know he has a huge family, with a lot of love, and generously gives to those he loves; nor would you know that for the last few weeks, that family has faithfully stayed by his side while he lay comatose in the ICU - visiting and praying daily, researching and asking a copious amount of questions, comforting him, cleansing energy, and brightening the space with crystals, candles, and music.
This is where we call upon the support of family, friends, and community. We understand it’s hard times for everyone, so we’d appreciate any contribution no matter how small - whether it be monetary or the act of sharing with someone that can. We are raising $20,000 for funeral & memorial costs, flight costs for his grandmother, and to support his parents who took time off work to dutifully stand by his side every day in ICU for the past three weeks.
We thank you for your support, and in honor of Tino, remind you to always lead with an open heart and to always show love to your loved ones. Life, as we learn, is far too short. Peace and love.
