In Memoriam and Support of Alice's Husband

My sister Alice's, husband unexpectedly passed away last night and left us all in shock. Mr. Oral Keith Armstrong was an amazing man with such a wonderful life that gave so much happiness to so many people and anyone that ever met him was instantly a friend. Even more so if you drank a beer and enjoyed a minute fishing the coastal waters of Craven County. There wasn't a thing this man wouldn't do for anyone in need and he exemplified that every day of his life.

He was not only a good friend but a loving, devoted husband to his wife and one of the finest fathers God ever created to quite a few children in his life whether his own or not, and always gave kids in his life the best he had to offer leaving many life lessons in each of them to carry and pass on for a lifetime.

He believed in humble work and making a fair wage for honest labor by being a fisherman and a logger his whole life. This beloved man was an avid sport fisherman and could be found at the water anytime he had an open minute; sometimes getting in trouble with Alice because he snuck away from something she wanted him to be at but the fish were biting! John the fisherman would have been his best friend in biblical times for sure.

We will miss him dearly, and we wish for fair winds and following seas brother!

Due to such an unexpected tragedy here at Christmas, this will put a massive strain on my sister to make arrangements. I am trying to help her cover funeral expenses, but if any of you wonderful folks may have anything to spare, it would help her tremendously.
