In Memoriam for Charles Carr; Veteran, Husband, Father.

Hello. I am Tashaya Duncan, writing on behalf of my family. My beloved Uncle Charles Carr passed away on August 7th, 2024. His journey was marked by immense challenges, as he battled throat cancer and dementia. Recently, he was placed in hospice care. Throughout his battles, his strength and resilience shone through.

Uncle Charles, a Vietnam War veteran, served our country with honor and courage. His unwavering commitment to duty and sacrifice has left an indelible mark on our hearts. For three decades, he faithfully worked at the post office, ensuring that mail reached its destination and serving our community. His dedication and work ethic were unmatched.

Charles Carr embodied compassion. He would drop everything to lend a helping hand or offer a listening ear to anyone in need. Above all, he was a devoted family man, ensuring his wife and children were cared for and loved.

Now that he has returned home to the Lord, our focus turns to supporting my Aunt Lorraine. She has a heart of gold and lives her life with love. The emotional and financial burdens can be overwhelming during this difficult time.

Unfortunately, his life insurance is not enough to cover the current cost of funeral expenses. Every contribution, no matter how small, makes a difference. Your donation will directly support Aunt Lorraine as she prepares for the days ahead.
