In Memoriam Sam Fournier
Donation protected
Sam Fournier passed away unexpectedly and went home to be with The Lord on March 25, 2020.
Sam was such an amazing, generous, kind-hearted young man with a heart of gold. He was funny, gentle and always liked to joke with his friends, but always made sure he let them know he valued them and their friendship.
A few years ago he found out he was a perfect match for a small little boy who was battling acute myeloid leukemia. He chose to undergo the bone marrow transplant surgery so he could save that little boy whom he had never met. He was so happy that he could do that.
A couple of years ago he took a wrong exit in Chicago and ended up in an impoverished neighborhood. When he got home, he looked up how he could help the children in that neighborhood and saw that they didn't have school supplies. So he purchased school supplies and donated them to the school. That's the kind of person he was. Always had a kind heart and wanted to help.
Sam lost his dad when he was 3 years old and was raised by his loving mother, Juanita. Sam and his mom have been long time members of Living Word Christian Center and Maranatha Christian Academy.
Family and friends who were blessed to know Sam are going to miss him dearly but look forward to when we can see him again.
This gofundme page is set up to help his mom with the funeral expenses.
Thank you so much to all that have donated during this very difficult time. Your generosity and kindness is so appreciated. Words cannot express our gratitude to you. Sam was such a loving and caring person and we miss him so much. Your thoughtfulness will never go unnoticed. Thank you so much.
