In memoriam: Sam Ouellette, Mill Valley Refuse
Donation protected
On June 18th, Samuel Ouellette of San Anselmo was operating the garbage truck he drove for Mill Valley Refuse when it overturned and he was pinned underneath it, killing him. Sam was an essential worked who served our community. The Mill Valley Refuse website reads: "Sam would go out of his way to help anyone and everyone, his customers, other drivers, or anyone along the way. He was known for always having a smile on his face and his easygoing demeanor. Sam had “his chair” in the office, where he’d sit every morning as the men joked with one another waiting to go out on their routes.
Sam is survived by his wife, Tammy. Sam’s best friend was Wyatt, his 10-year-old Labrador retriever who we hear is lost without him. Sam considered MVRS his family. We will be lost without him as well."
Your donations to this GoFundMe will go directly to Sam's wife Tammy as a sign of our community's appreciation for his service.
