In Memory and Honor of Rickey Williams

Donation protected
We lost a good man on Monday, June 1st.  Laura who loved him best, said it best:

"Jake and I were with him yesterday and begging him to hold on. He fought.
Like he has every day of his life.
Fought to build the most beautiful life for his family.
Fought to bring great honor to the Williams name that came from a father he never knew.
Fought for his son’s ear to teach him the most wise and thoughtful way to navigate this beautiful journey of life.
Fought to show me how much he loved me every single day.
Fought the 20 years he spent teaching in South Central LA to listen and learn from his amazing students and educate others what Black Lives Matter really means.
Fought to spread the gospel of Jesus and the hope that only He can give.

He pushed back when someone doubted their worth.
He challenged our thinking and made us dig deep.
We are all better because of you Rickey Williams.
You demanded more than mediocre lives of the people that knew you well. You always demanded it from yourself first.
You are a warrior in the truest sense of the word.
27 years of marriage and almost 20 years of fatherhood wasn’t nearly enough, but we promise to fight to carry on what you have built."

Your contributions will help with the unexpected costs at this time and will help Laura and Jake as they take the next steps.
