Chris’s unexpected passing has left us all heartbroken.
This page was set up to help all of us return the love and friendship that Chris has given to each one of us by helping his mom Nancy with funeral costs and mounting medical bills.
A little bit more...
Chris had a heart bigger than most. He was always the first to help a friend out. He was always the one who offered a warm smile and hug. He made you feel comfortable the moment you met him. Whatever he did, he gave it all he had. When he joined the military, he chose the marines and was proud to serve his country. When it came to music, he sang his heart out and was a very gifted guitar player. He made several albums, had a following, and played in more venues than I could keep track. When he decided to study law, he focused on his goal and became a lawyer. He practiced for several years in Toms River. He truly gave 100% of himself to everything he set his mind to accomplish. When it came to his health, he worked hard and trained with George Sullivan. He also had gastric bypass surgery to help him with his health. He wanted to live his life to the fullest. As we know, his surgery was followed by many unexpected complications. He tried to stay positive and keep fighting to get better. Eventually, he was unable to work. He did not have medical or life insurance. His mom, who has always been supportive of him, was right by his side. Chris went through many ups and downs, but continued to fight and stay positive. Things were looking up and he moved to Arizona for a fresh start. He seemed so happy. He continued to get help for the medical issues related to the surgery. He went into the hospital this last time. They were changing medications and mom was expecting to bring him home yesterday. Instead, she got the phone call that every parent fears the most. Chris was found unresponsive at the hospital and passed away.
Not having medical insurance, his bills have been mounting. His mom, Nancy, is in mourning. The pain of losing your child is unbearable. Meanwhile, she has a funeral to plan and his medical bills to pay. Sometimes, it takes a village to help us get through life and right now, Nancy needs us. I’ve seen an enormous outpouring of love from so many people. Please, keep it coming. Share your stories and pictures on here, with Nancy, and with each other. Listen to Chris’s music. It’s a window into his deepest self and a legacy he left for all of us. Finally, please donate. Nancy needs our help and love to get through this and to help take care of the medical and funeral costs. No amount is too small. We need to help Nancy through this by doing what Chris would have done for all of us.
Dear Chris,
Until we see you again, keep rocking.
We love and miss you,
Your family and friends
