Eric, your spirit which radiates optimism, adventure, curiosity, compassion and community will forever live on within us.

You had relationships so big it made the world feel small. Your smile lit up a room. Your laugh was infectious. You led us down little crannies to live life experiences we didn't know were there. Your ambition to live a life well-lived inspired. Your sheer happiness in the great outdoors grounded us. Your kindness made us feel good in every call and hang out. Your joy in music and making music made our ears perk up and our feet dance. Your love for your family and chosen family fulfilled us.

Your community, your family, we wish that your final destination brings you all of the amazing feelings you brought to us during your time here.

You will be forever missed. We love you and know greatly, you loved us.

Eric Elder left this world Nov 10, 2022. This is the memorial where we can remember the light that Eric brought into our lives. Please support the fundraiser in support of this celebration and remaining funds will be sent to an organisation dedicated to men’s mental health, a cause Eric was very passionate about with his foundation of Newman.

There has been so much love for our Eric - thank you all for your kind support.
