In Memory of Gurminder (Gary) Parmar

Dear friends, family, and community,
It is with a heavy heart that I am announcing the passing of our very own Gurminder "Gary" Parmar this past weekend. Gary was not only a father and a husband, but a great friend to the Lodi community. For those of you that knew Gary, you knew that he was a loving, caring, and compassionate man. He was always willing to help out others and lend a helping hand or an ear. Anyone that ever stepped foot into Tokay liquor can recall running into Gary and the memories that were shared.
Gary was working late Saturday night and became the victim of a robbery.
This unexpected news has taken an immense toll on his family and left them completely heart broken. As they mourn for their loved one, it is clear that the road ahead will be difficult and present with significant challenges. This year has already been challenging for the Parmar family as they struggled to keep themselves afloat. After recent events, Gary's wife and two sons are left to manage their local business and all of the costs associated with it's repairs, plan a proper funeral and burial service for their father/husband, along with getting by on their bills.
As a friend of Gary, I am reaching out to you all in hopes that you'll show your support for his family and to ease their financial burden during these difficult times. Any support goes along ways. We appreciate all of you that took the time to read this.

We know how much Gary meant to our community and how he will never be forgotten.
Best regards.
