In Memory of John Hallworth

We lost Johnny on Monday, January 6th midday. He was such a great son, brother, nephew, husband, father, uncle, Papa, cousin and friend. He was an extremely talented Pattern Maker, owning Cochecho Pattern Works in Somersworth for over 40 years. Specializing in historical and architectural patterns, John’s work has been extensively used in the restoration of the Boston Opera House, the Bunker Hill Monument, New York’s Grand Central Station, the Boston Museum of Fine Arts, the Massachusetts State House, Shreves, Crump & Low, and the new Boston Convention Center among many others.  having created many historical reproductions for landmarks and vintage automobiles throughout New England, New York and beyond.

Johnny had such a quick wit, entertaining everyone around him at get togethers or when on the phone. His passions were his family and golf and his favorite past time was watching his grandson Willis play hockey and enjoying time with his granddaughter Rosie. He will be sorely missed.

Born in Dover on December 6, 1951, he was the son of the late Gordon and Mary (Dillon) Hallworth. He is survived by, and was sole provider for, his wife of 45 years, Mary (Frost); his son James Patrick (J.P.) of Dover and his children Jimmy (Willis) and Rosie (ROH); and his daughter Mary Beth (Beff) of Dover.
