As a Capitol Hill police officer, Ifeanyi bravely stood on the frontlines during the January 6th Capitol attack, putting his life on the line to protect America’s democracy.

Officer Madu was more than just a hero in uniform—he was a son, a brother, and a source of strength for his family and community. He served with unwavering dedication, yet his greatest pride was his role as a loving husband and father. His passing has left his family devastated and facing an uncertain future.
