In memory of a loved one, Brad Wentzel.

This fundraiser has been created to honour the life of an amazing husband, son, father, and friend. Brad suddenly lost his life on the morning of July 12, 2022. While we mourn the passing of such an incredible person, we would like to offer the support to Brad's family especially his wife Amber, and his children Kyra (6) and Blake (4) as they try to navigate the loss of their ‘person’ – husband, father & friend.

Highschool sweethearts, Amber & Brad had been together for 20 years and have managed to build not only successful careers, but a beautiful family while overcoming many struggles, including expanding their family through in-vitro to fulfill their dream of children. Brad and Amber are extremely hard workers who go to extra-ordinary lengths for not only their jobs, but for everyone around them. Brad’s shop was a never ending revolving door for visits and repairs for friends and acquittances – of which he had so many. He loved the outdoors, whether it was fishing, camping or hunting and often did these activities with his family and friends. Amber works full time as a nurse, is a teacher for the Nursing Program and takes on a variety of additional roles whenever someone is in need. In combination with all of this, family was their focus – spending time with Kyra & Blake doing outdoor adventures, cheering the kids on in sports and ensuring that they were able to experience everything that life has to offer.

The outpouring of condolences to Amber, Kyra & Blake have been overwhelming and the numerous heartfelt messages received have been incredible. For those of you that know Amber personally, you will also know that she is the last person to ask for help and the first person to offer it. We would like to support Amber, Kyra & Blake to be able to focus on the long journey ahead while they work to rebuild their future that was shattered a few weeks ago.
