In Memory of a Loving Father: Help the Damasco Family

Dear family and friends,

With the heaviest and most broken hearts, my family and I are reaching out for support.

My father unexpectedly passed while enjoying a cruise with my mother and their compadres. Unfortunately, he suffered from cardiac arrest. My parents were enjoying being empty nesters with their daily walks, dinners, and jacuzzi nights. My dad was the foundation and strength of our family and we are devastated and shocked that our worlds have flipped upside down in a moment.

My dad was a supportive father, caring husband, oldest son and protective brother, a 2nd dad to many, a friend, and a mentor. Behind he left my most loving mom Claudia, older sister Jessica, and my twin brother, Michael, and I. He never failed to take care of us or stop everything he was doing to help us with anything we needed. His presence graced us with safety, peace, and countless dad jokes. Moments that are so missed already.

We are learning that everyone felt the same about him. The amount of love we have already received from just immediate family has been comforting. Outside of family my dad has his own community of colleagues, friends, and mentees that are reaching out to us and sharing their feelings and request to support. Please share with those who knew my father that we may not have been able to reach.

Proceeds will go to funeral and mortuary services.
