In Memory of a True Football Fan - Paul Sarin

Donation protected
On Saturday, 29th March, during our away match at Hanworth Villa, we tragically lost one of our own, Paul Sarin. A regular face at Ascot United and Bracknell Town, he became seriously unwell at the side of the pitch and, despite the tireless efforts of the medical teams, he sadly passed away later that day.

Paul, aged 53, was a devoted husband and a loving father, son, and brother. He is survived by his wife and two children.

Brother-in-law to Neil and Lisa Richards, Paul was a dedicated supporter of non-league football and a familiar face within the local scene. He worked as a self-employed carpenter, and was deeply rooted in the community, often seen at the sidelines with friends and family by his side.

Beyond watching the game, Paul played an active role – coaching his son’s teams at Sandhurst Town Boys & Girls FC with passion, care, and a real sense of purpose. His contribution to grassroots football – as a coach, a supporter, and a friend to many – leaves a lasting legacy.

No one should ever leave home to watch a football match - and not return home. As a club and as a footballing family, we’re asking the wider non-league community to stand with us in supporting Paul’s family at this incredibly difficult time.

Every contribution, however big or small, will go directly toward easing the road ahead for his wife and two children.

Let’s show them they are not alone – thank you for your kindness and solidarity.
