Donation protected
On Monday, 27th January 2025, we were devastated by the sudden and unexpected passing of Adam Ballard. His loss has left an immeasurable void in the lives of his family, friends, and the many people he inspired.
Adam’s journey began at Character Enquiry Centre (CEC), where he met his wife, Sharday. After working in the Vetting Unit, he transitioned into community work and founded Be Inspired (formerly Gloves Not Gunz), an organisation dedicated to empowering young people, steering them away from youth violence, and equipping them with the tools to build brighter futures.
A visionary leader, Adam’s passion, dedication, and relentless drive to support young people transformed countless lives. He was not only a mentor and leader but also a friend to so many. Through Be Inspired, he worked tirelessly to provide young people with hope, guidance, opportunities, and unwavering support, ensuring they had the chance to create a better future for themselves.
Adam was a source of strength, positivity, and encouragement to everyone he encountered. He will always be remembered for his selflessness, kindness, and determination. His legacy will live on through the incredible work he started, continuing to shape and uplift the lives of young people for generations to come.
All funds will go towards supporting Adam's wife and son during this difficult time. We are deeply grateful for any support you can give.
Thank you for standing with us to honour Adam’s memory and continue the incredible work he dedicated his life to.
