Good day, everyone. My name is Jessica Roy, and I have created this GoFundMe to help support the family of Adam Parker, who we tragically lost. Adam was just 17, a son of four. He is the son of Sarah and Dan Parker.

I met Adam through my son. Adam was my son Mason's best friend. The two had a bond that most of us in life could only wish for. He and Mase were two peas in a pod. Where there was one, there was the other. He moved a couch into Mason's room one day and from that day they were inseparable. He knew our door was always open and we knew every day when it squeaked open that he was "home". We loved and admired him. Over the years, we fell in love with Adam. He wasn't just a friend. He was a brother and a son to us five. Adam grew to not only being Mason's best friend, but he grew to being our son (he wasn't ours, but he was).

We loved Adam, and he loved us.

This past Tuesday, July 16th, sadly we lost Adam to a motorcycle accident. As safe and as skilled of a rider that he was, he sustained wounds that he couldn't walk away from or ever come back from. The loss of Adam has been utterly devastating for his family and all who knew him. Adam was just 17, a son of four. He is the son of Sarah and Dan Parker. You see, this isn't the Parker family's first loss. Two years ago, they lost their oldest son, Nathan, to a tragic motorcycle accident. Both boys were Noble High School students.

In two years' time, Sarah and Dan have had more pain and heartache than most of us. Like them, as a mom of 3 boys of my own, I cannot fathom what they are all enduring and the increased hardships that they will face forever because of this. These trials and tribulations are tremendous.

I'm begging everyone reading this, who has ever had the pleasure of knowing Adam to join me in help supporting this family. My family. Our family. I'm begging you that if you know Sarah, Dan, that you consider helping support them. I am begging you that if you know Adam and Nathan's younger brother, Caleb that you can support him. That you support Makaila, their sister.

Sarah and Dan will need to take some time off and help their youngest son and their daughter, as well as themselves, try and put their lives together again. They need time together. As the days and the weeks and years come this family will need a love and support system within our communities. Check on them, and check on your loved ones, too.
