In Memory of Admir Halilovic

My name is Adis Halilovic and this is my family (albeit several years ago, blurry, and many nieces missing)
The handsome smiling man in the center is my brother Admir. We know him as one of the most generous, loving, funniest people. He would give everything and the shirt off his back to help someone in need. Anyone who needed help, he wouldn't rest unless he helped them whether you were family, friend, or just a stranger on the street going through a tough time.
My family has been going through difficult financial times and with such a shock and not a deep backup plan, we are asking others for their generosity to assist us to get through this time. With funeral expenses, having to provide my retired and disabled parents financial support, and paying for all that we need to get through this time, every little bit helps. We are charging many expenses on credit, but my parents who aren't working right now do not have much to get them through this time and set up for the future. Funds will be needed to get them set up and secured within a month. My brother and I will be in charge of distributing the funds.

Admir was born in Zenica, Bosnia and Herzegovina on June 10th, 1986. In 1998, we came to USA and he grew up through his teens with myself, my brother, and my parents experiencing a new world. He was a great brother and a great son who lived life to the fullest.
I remember him as my older brother but also one of my best friends. I knew just talking to him for five minutes, I would be laughing feeling like we could take on the world. I remember we would play video games growing up taking on those worlds. We would play music on full blast in the car with the windows down driving and screaming the words. He would talk about me with a smile on his face, with all the pride of even a parent.
My brother and sister (well sister-in-law, but she's just like a sister to me) will tell you the same and more. They will tell you about how he would run around with our nieces playing like a little kid. He would sit with them talking about everything that they wanted to achieve. Again making us all feel like we can take on the world and win.
My parents, whom he graciously supported with all that he could, would tell you that he is a pure soul. The kindest son whom none could match, including myself. He would offer them anything that they could want and work tirelessly to give them a happy life. Still living with them even in his last days, he provided all the love he had in his heart and still somehow had more to give.
He even has a child of 6 months and a fiance who are not going to have the joy to get to know him as deeply as we do. He will live with them through our memories, our photos, our love.
With a heavy heart, we found he passed away, suddenly, on December 21st, 2021 peacefully in his sleep at home. His life created waves of joy in this world and made the lives of all who knew him better.
If you are going through your own hard times, please support this campaign by sharing his story.
Thank you so much to everyone who has provided us love, care, and assistance in this time. I hope you hug your loved ones tight tonight and tell them what they mean to you.
