In Memory of Akasha: Support for Final Services

I’m sweety Akasha’s mom and I’m asking for help to cover the cost of her autopsy and services. Akasha’s 19 and was a proud CNA she graduated from Troy high class of 2023 and started her nursing career at Hudson valley in spring of 2023.

Akasha was diagnosed with NMDA Receptor Encephalitis in may of 2024 which led her to be in a coma. She fought really hard to come back to us and after 9 1/2 weeks she woke up. Then 2 weeks later she went home was ok had been home for almost 3 weeks and suddenly passed yesterday 8/6. Not sure why or how she passed and because of her recent diagnosis they said natural causes and will not cover the cost of an autopsy so it’s left up to her dad and myself to cover the cost as well as the cost of service. I know my kid my responsibility but what parent prepares for this. I’m not really the one to ask for help but for my daughter I will do what I have to and I’m just asking to give what you can from the heart every dollar is appreciated.
