In Memory of Alan Walsh.

It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Alan Walsh in Western Australia, a much-loved family member, loyal friend and work mate.

Alan passed away suddenly from a medical episode on the mine site he was working on.

He was 26 years old, surrounded by the best group of mates on-site and living his best life, with the world at his feet, Alan was so well thought of by everyone who knew him, he just had one of those infectious positive attitudes.

Alan's family are experiencing an unimaginably difficult period whilst they wait for news on the repatriation of Alan from Perth WA back home to Limerick, Ireland.

As is the construction industry standard here in Australia and the collective community we have had a lot of kind offers from individuals wanting to help in some way, so we have set up this fund to allow us to contribute to making the hard weeks ahead that wee bit easier for Alan's family.

We have been in contact with Alan’s mum and her wish is to give back to the Cladagh Association and the Kevin Bell Repatriation Fund, we will split the funds raised three ways, to help cover some of the families expenses and to the both charities.

We understand Alan was well loved and will be sorely missed by friends and family far and wide so please share this message to all friends and community groups you feel may want to honour him.

We have been in close contact with 'The Cladagh Association' here in Perth and they in turn have been working with their partners 'The Kevin Bell Repatriation Fund'. We would like to thank them from the bottom of our hearts for their ongoing help and support during this time, absolutely incredible organisations.
