In Memory of Alex: Support for the Schaufler Family

Donation protected
It is with heavy hearts to share the passing of Alex Schaufler. Two years ago, Alex was diagnosed with one of the most rare and aggressive forms of cancer, Ewing Sarcoma. Alex fought, and achieved remission in February of 2023. Unfortunately, the cancer returned this past April and this time too powerful to contain. Alex passed on July 6th, 2024.

Alex could light up a room like no other. His laughter was contagious and his personality impactful. He touched the hearts of so many and is one of the most loved individuals. If you had the opportunity to know him, you know how special he was. He lives on through all of us.

As close friends of Alex, our objective is to ease the financial stress of the Schaufler family during this time of grief. Losing a son and brother is an unbearable experience no one should have to go through. ANY AMOUNT, no matter how large or small, is helpful to their family. Please support them through this difficult time. A portion of funds raised will also be dedicated to efforts for an Alex Schaufler memorial.

All are welcome to attend his memorial service at St. John Vianney in Walnut Creek on Saturday, July 13th at 10:30 am. Close friends and those traveling from out of town are welcome to join Alex's family at the reception which will be at the Lafayette Park Hotel to celebrate his life.
