In Memory of Allan D. Summers

This fundraiser is in loving memory of Allan Summers, who was taken from us far too soon. We lost him on August 27, 2021, and while we grieve for him, we know there is important work to be done in the study of sarcoma, which took his life. This rare form of cancer does not receive the level of funding for research that other forms do, and we are supporting the Sarcoma Foundation of America in its work to help prevent others from succumbing to this horrific disease. More information about Sarcoma Foundation of America: The mission of the Sarcoma Foundation of America (SFA) is to advocate for sarcoma patients by funding research and by increasing awareness about the disease. The organization raises money to privately fund grants for sarcoma researchers and conducts education and advocacy efforts on behalf of sarcoma patients.
