Allisa Marie Vollan lost her life on March 22, 2024 during an act of domestic violence. She had an active DANCO, which he had continued to violate resulting in taking her life.
Allisa was born on December 20th, 1996 and turned into a bright young lady whose life was taken way too soon. She grew up in Duluth and graduated from Denfeld High School where had an abundance of great friends that stuck with her through life. She always looked forward to her next adventures and the new friends she could meet. She’s loved and remembered by all of her family and friends.
With the funds raised, our family will be able to work on a funeral along with any legal assistance.
1 in 7 women and 1 in 25 men have been injured by an intimate partner. On average, nearly 20 people per minute are physically abused by an intimate partner in the US. Every 9 seconds in the US a woman is assaulted or beaten. In 60%-80% of intimate partner homicides, no matter which partner was killed, the man physically abused the woman before the murder.
On a typical day, there are more than 20,000 phone calls placed to domestic violence hotlines nationwide. Each of these victims is someone’s child, parent, sibling, family member, intimate partner, friend, neighbor, or co-worker.
Don’t let the cycle continue.
