In Loving Memory of Amy M. Kozak (Daly)
With deep sorrow, we share the heartbreaking news that our beloved mom, Amy Kozak (Daly), passed away unexpectedly on the eve of Thanksgiving, November 27, 2024. In an instant, the light of our lives has been dimmed, and we are left feeling lost and devastated.
My mom was the heart and soul of our family—her warmth, kindness, and unending love were felt by everyone she touched. Her beauty, inside and out, radiated in everything she did, from the way she cared for those she loved to the gentle way she brought comfort and joy into any room. Her smile had the power to light up the darkest days, and now, without her, that room feels empty.
Losing both of our parents at such a young age is an unimaginable pain that Kolleen and I are struggling to bear. Our mom was always there for us, no matter the circumstances. She supported us, loved us, and guided us through every challenge. Now, we find ourselves trying to navigate the world without her, facing the overwhelming task of handling her affairs in the wake of her passing.
In lieu of flowers or cards, we are asking for your support to help us through this incredibly difficult time. Any contributions, no matter how small, will help ease the burden we are facing as we deal with our grief and the aftermath of our mom's passing. A portion of the funds raised will be donated to two causes that were incredibly important to Mom.
A portion of the funds will go to the American Heart Association, in memory of our mom, who was taken from us far too soon. Additionally, we will be donating to the Ramapo-Bergen Animal Refuge, Inc., where I adopted my dog, Miles. Miles brought so much joy and comfort to my mom’s life—he was like a child to her, always there to offer companionship, love, and a sense of peace during both good and difficult times. We know she would want to give back to the place that gave us Miles, who meant the world to her and truly prolonged her life.
Our mom's legacy will live on in us—her love, strength, and the lessons she taught us will remain in our hearts forever. Thank you for your love, support, and for helping us through this unimaginable time.
With heartfelt gratitude,
Kelsey & Kolleen
