In Memory of and Tribute to Aster Mamo 's Wishes

With heavy hearts and profound sadness we announce the passing of our beloved Aster Mamo, a loving mother to Lucas, Mahlet, Sosina and Meaza, and devoted wife to Tariku Tesfa. Aster is a treasured member of the Medhanealem Mehabir and a dedicated parishioner of her church community, Hohite Semay St. Mary Ethiopian Orthodox Church, located in New Westminster, British Columbia.

 

Aster had a tragically short battle with cancer. While we cannot change the pain and sorrow of losing Aster we, their family and friends would like to request our community’s support.

 

We would like to raise funds to support the immediate and longer term needs of her family, and most importantly, to accomplish her and her family’s wishes of supporting children living in poverty in Ethiopia.

 

Aster’s wish to see this through was tragically cut short. Any donation will be greatly appreciated, and we thank you in advance for your support.
