In Memory of Andy Sadler for Medical, Memorial, and Life.

It was with a heavy heart and deep sadness that the Ann Arbor community learned of the passing of an important member, Andy Sadler. While many may not have met him personally, many knew Anya Siglin Sadler, the Program Director of The Ark. Andy was Anya’s husband, an amazing father to Ella and Gina, and stepfather to Rob Zenas. He was a wonderful son to his mother, Frances, and an older brother to his sister, Angela. Andy was also an uncle and was soon to be a grandfather.
Andy had a successful career at Ford Motor Credit Company and was an exceptional youth soccer coach at MPSA Crush. Sadly, Andy passed away in the early morning of October 23 after an unexpected heart attack. Known for his physical strength and passion for life, he had set his sights on summiting Africa’s Mt. Kilimanjaro - a testament to his adventurous spirit.
His friends, family, and the community will deeply miss him, as they have lost a remarkable person. His passing serves as a reminder that life is too short, and that too many people are being lost far too soon. It’s important to take care of oneself and to take care of one another.
Andy will be remembered fondly, and his legacy will endure. He achieved more than anyone could hope and was a role model to all. The community sends its love to his family during this time of grief.
In honor of Andy’s memory, we have set up a GoFundMe to help cover the medical costs from his time in the hospital, end-of-life expenses and other possible ongoing needs. For those who would prefer to contribute in a different way, donations can also be made to MPSA Crush, an organization that meant a great deal to Andy. We are deeply grateful for any support you are willing to give, and we want to thank everyone for reaching out and for their generosity during this difficult time.
