In Memory of Angelina Ortega

Donation protected
With great sadness, on August 29th, 2024, our beloved daughter Angelina Ortega lost her 3-month battle against a severe infection. She was surrounded by family and friends at the time of her death. Angelina has left behind her two young children, her 6-year-old daughter and 5-year-old son, along with her parents. Angelina had just turned 28 on July 21st. Angelina was a young, beautiful, and loving person who was her children’s sole provider.
Angelina was working as a pharmacy technician at Market Street until her hospitalization, which started in early June. She was a devoted mother to her children who spent all her free time with them. She loved her family more than anything and was looking forward to pursuing her goal of becoming a pharmacist. Her number one goal in life was to be able to provide for her children.
Even in the face of her hospitalization, she still had faith that she would be able to return to work and support her children. Angelina was a ray of sunshine to her parents, her family, and friends. She would give the shirt off her back to help anyone in need. She had a huge heart, and her death has deeply affected her family, especially her children.
Her parents have taken on the role of caring for and raising her two young children. Angelina was a ray of light; she was loving, compassionate, caring, and funny. She was loved by anybody who had the pleasure of knowing her. Whether you knew her for 5 minutes or 5 years, her infectious smile would light up a room. She had a deep impact on anyone she met, which is what got her into the field she was currently working in as she loved being able to help other people.
In memory of Angelina and in support of her children, the family’s goal is to be able to have enough money to bury Angelina with her baby brother who passed away in 2013 at 6 ½ months old.
