In Memory of Anna Mary

Our high school classmate from the University of the Philippines Integrated School, Anna Mary Javier, passed on last May 6, 2022, after nine years of living with kidney failure. She fought her illness with positivity and courage. She gave hope despite her pain and brought so much light to those around her. She leaves behind her younger sister, Claire Javier,  who has been taking care of Anna since their older sister died last year from Covid. The Javier sisters lost their father and mother several years ago.

 

Like most hospitals in the Philippines, the hospital where Anna was confined is holding the release of her death certificate until their bills are paid. The outstanding hospital bills and doctors' fees amount to PHP733,000 (around $15,000).

 

Our class (UPIS Batch '97) is pooling our donations and turning them over to Anna Mary's sister Claire by the end of the month. We appreciate any help you can give to help lay our beloved friend to rest.
