In memory of Anthonia Akinbola

Anthonia Olusola Akinbola passed away on June 13, 2023.

If you'd like to support Mrs. Akinbola’s legacy, this is one way! Money raised via this fundraiser will be used to create a fellowship in Mrs. Akinbola's honor. Mrs. Akinbola spent the later years of her life teaching arts and crafts at senior centers across New York City. This work brought her immense joy and her students loved her dearly. In her legacy, this fellowship would offer financial support to artists who want to work with elders, teaching them art practices and collaborating with them on their own creative projects.

This fundraiser was organized by friends of Anthonia's daughter, Bimbola. The funds will go directly to Bimbola and Bunmi to distribute for the fellowship in Anthonia's memory.
