Good day everyone,
It is with a heavy heart to announce the passing of my mother, Araceli Dela Cruz Quitlong.
She is a loving mother, very supportive with our decision making, good coach to help us achieve our goals and plans in life, a persevering mother who single-handedly raised her 6 children by herself, no matter how difficult the situation is.
She fought the good fight of faith in battling 3 forefront illnesses: Alzheimer’s disease, Stroke, and Diabetes.
Until the 6th of May 2020 at around 9:00 pm she stood up to her last breath and passed away.
With the current Coronavirus pandemic, I wasn’t able to go back home in the Philippines to mourn and see her for one last time.
The family has been struggling financially since February 2020 when she was hospitalised in two hospitals in the Southern Philippines and became bed-bound then after.
We are still awaiting for a cargo flight to the Northern Philippines so we can bring her back to her hometown and to bury her beside our father’s grave, but funeral costs are mounting due to the prolonged lockdown in different cities in the Phillipines.
We are knocking on your kind and gracious hearts to please extend your assistance to help put our Mum to her final rest.
