Marina and Alan Novaes have suffered an unthinkable and devastating loss. Their beloved mother, Barbara Hovey Novaes, was taken from them suddenly and tragically. As a result, her children have lost their provider, their rock, their world. Due to these circumstances, Barb’s estate will be tied up for a very long time. Her children will need help meeting expenses, such as health care, an estate attorney, and assistance with their mother’s funeral. Presently our family is helping them in every way possible. Many have reached out to ask what can be done for our family, for our Barbara. The answer is that we can help provide for her cherished children. They were Barb’s priority, and now they are ours. We truly hate to ask; we are grieving; we don’t have answers; the way forward is uncertain. Their only support now is from those who love our family and loved our Barb.
