In Memory of Barbara Levine

On September 1, 2022, beloved mother, wife, sister, grandmother, aunt, teacher, and friend, Barbara Levine, passed away due to complications from COVID-19. Our family is devastated and we know many people out there are saddened by the news of her passing.

Her departure from this world leaves a big hole for all of us, but we are especially worried for our dad, Marc. Not only is he now navigating the emotionally impossible task of learning to live without his best friend and love of over 44 years, but he is also facing immediate financial stress related to the cost of Mom’s recent medical care and final arrangements, as well as maintaining their home with half the income.

Both of us have a lot of experience in human services and will do everything we can to help Dad contact insurance, social security, car loan, mortgage co, etc, to deal with all the required logistics. But it takes time.

We are asking for your help right now to literally buy our Dad time to focus on grieving and adjusting to life without Mom.

Funds raised go directly to Marc/Dad and will be used to cover medical bills, final arrangements for our mom, and to keep up with household expenses as needed.
