Beverly (Bev) Jean Ver Mulm was born on July 27, 1951, in Downey California, to Mina & Martin Ver Mulm. Bev went home with God and became an angel in heaven on September 12, 2024 in her home near Newberg, Oregon. She grew up in Artesia, California till the age of 12.
In 1963 her family moved to Newberg, Oregon where she resided the remainder of her life.
Bev spent her younger years on her family farm, Hillside Dairy, which operated until 1975. Mornings started early for Bev, as she helped with just about everything on the farm including feeding and milking cows, which often lead Bev to be late for school. This never bothered her parents as work needed to be done. Bev quickly learned work ethics and skills she would go to pass down to many generations.
She graduated at Newberg High School in 1969. After graduating, she completed barber school in 1970. She was an apprentice at Lyle’s Barber Shop in Beaverton, Oregon and cut hair there for many years. In the mid 1980s she took a job as a purchasing agent at Oregon Orchard Equipment. In 1997, she took another purchasing position at Allen Machinery, which changed to FMC and later to PPM until 2009. She continued to cut hair from home on the side until a few months before her death. She cut hair for 54 years.
While employed at Allen Machinery, Bev met the love of her life, Greg Rasaka.
What started out as just coworkers, their relationship slowly grew into a friendship of a lifetime.
Within just 8 short years, that friendship became so much more, as it blossomed into a love like no other. Beverly Jean Ver Mulm and Gregory John Rasaka wed on February 5, 2005 at Windrose, in Newberg, Oregon. Bev, became a step-mother to her only daughters, Danielle (Dani) Saeland & Kristen Brewster-Rasaka.
Greg and Bev shared 19 beautiful years together, forming a life of friendship and love, that became an example to so many.
One of Bev’s many passions in life was photography. At every occasion, she provided family & friends with countless and unforgettable memories of breathtaking photographs for many years to come.
Bev was also an extremely talented artist. She hand painted dot mandala art on various surfaces such as rocks, magnets, ornaments, plaques and necklaces.
She was an exceptional and inspiring teacher to those around her. She graciously taught many skills, such as how to drive a tractor, how to properly mow a lawn, how to build a fence, how to paint and even how to swaddle a newborn baby. Bev was one heck of a cook! Her kitchen always had the smell of something freshly baked, like her cookies or famous banana bread or even her yummy pumpkin pancakes. She never let a bowl or spoon go unlicked by a child, as her grandchildren were her taste testers!
Bev, whole heartedly believed in freedom for all of humanity. Every day of her life, she lived to raise awareness to awaken those around her. She spread positivity everywhere she went. She could spread awareness of the conscious so effortlessly. She encouraged others to become a higher self, to have everlasting faith, to have complete compassion for others, to be extraordinary kind and to hold unconditional love to the world around her.
Bev was an incredible woman. She held such exquisite knowledge for just about everything. She supported and encouraged every single person she touched. She was a master of manifestation, never letting anyone talk bad about themselves or anyone else. If she caught you, she would instantly correct you and say, "Oh don’t say that, don’t put that out to the universe!"
What an amazing example of a truly remarkable, heroic, talented and inspirational human being Bev was. May her legacy of positivity, friendship, kindness and love remain in the hearts of those she held so dear, forever.
