In Memory of Bianca: Support for Her Loved Ones

It is with immense gratitude that the Quintana family accepts support from the community during this time of unimaginable loss.

Bianca Quintana was a mother, wife, daughter, sister, Nina, and friend. She was also a police officer with the Albuquerque Police Department. She was tragically killed the morning of August 14, leaving her family, friends, and fellow officers devastated. They will miss her kindness, playful nature, and giving heart. Her ability to connect with others and form meaningful relationships was a gift she had like no other. She built lasting connections with colleagues in the department as well as previous organizations she worked at. She will be remembered for being dedicated and hardworking - most of all, she was loved by all.

She was the heart of her family, her love and devotion knew no bounds. She leaves behind her husband David (“Q”), and sons Elias and Ezekiel, as well as her father Daniel, mother Maria, brothers Marcos and Daniel, and sisters Mari and Issa. Her passion for life was evident in everything she did including her joy in playing and coaching softball, unwavering support for the Yankees and 49ers, and volunteering to support any cause that came available. As a friend, teammate, coach, and team mom, she touched countless lives with her kindness, enthusiasm, and unyielding spirit.

Bianca was a private and humble person. She would have never wanted to receive donations or honors on her own behalf. But, through gentle community urging, the family gratefully accepts the generosity of others to support her children as they move towards a future without their mother.
