In Memory of Bob Kennedy (Robert Alan Kennedy)

Bob Kennedy, 58, passed away unexpectedly at his home on Sunday, April 30, 2023. We want to give Bob the memorial he truly deserves and honor his legacy. We are asking for donations to help cover the cost of Bob's funeral.

Bob graduated from Otterbein University in 1987 with a BA in speech communications and served as the public address announcer for Otterbein University, The Ohio State University, Columbus Clippers and as an on-air personality for WDLR.

Everyone who knew Bob will never forget how he made you feel. His passion and energy for life and his craft were contagious, but it was his kindness to all who knew him that made him so special.

His trademark "one-in-one" phrase at the Rike Center during Otterbein basketball games was a fan favorite.

Bob started working as the PA announcer inside Ohio Stadium 23 years ago for football games and created many special moments we all have shared while attending games.

A Celebration of Life service followed by a reception will be held Sunday, June 11, 2023, at 4:30 p.m., at New Life Church, 3690 N. Stygler Rd, Gahanna, Ohio 43230. Guests are encouraged to wear team apparel.
