In Memory of Brenda Curfman

My name is Tara Elliston and I am trying to raise funds to assist Kyle and Cody Curfman with expenses related to the passing of my friend and co-worker, Brenda Curfman.

I met Brenda in 2008 when I started working at Geneva Woods.  Her quiet sense of humor, warm smile and friendly nature never faltered over the years, despite her medical condition.  No matter how she felt, she was at work every single day.  I'll not forget any time soon the joy on her face when she talked about her son Cody's baseball tournaments and how she described what a great son he was with a ton of pride in her voice.  Nor will I forget that every day, her husband Kyle brought her to work.  He held the door to the building open for her so she could drive her scooter through--but not before handing her a bag with her lunch and giving her a kiss goodbye.
