In Memory of Brett McKee

I am saddened to share that Brett McKee passed away on the afternoon of Tuesday, July 2, 2024, after complications related to a planned surgery. Brett was the loving husband of Staci McKee and loving father of Reese and Katelyn. Anyone who knew Brett knows he loved listening to music (especially Pearl Jam), writing song lyrics, making people laugh, cheering for the CU Buffs & Denver Broncos, being a foodie (eating out, grilling and experimenting with new recipes), was fiercely loyal to his friends and most importantly his deep love of his family. The picture on this page is from Father's Day 2024, doing another one of his favorite things - being on the water.

In memory of Brett and in support of his family, this page has been set up to raise funds to help with expenses, including a Celebration of Life service (date TBD), medical bills (8 days in ICU), Reese's upcoming college freshman year at CSU and Katelyn's future college fund. Unfortunately, Brett did not have a personal life insurance policy at the time of his sudden passing.
