In Memory of Brian Hanlon: Support for Lisa and Grace

The world lost a truly special person when Brian passed away suddenly at the age of 48 on Thursday, August 8, 2024.

Brian was an incredibly caring and thoughtful person who easily connected with everyone he met. He had a passion for learning and also for sharing what he learned, improving the lives of those around him on a daily basis. His passion, energy, and creativity shined through in his many lifelong pursuits including art, acupuncture, and the martial arts. He always led with gratitude and appreciation and had a bold and beautifully exuberant way, effortlessly inspiring those around him.

His greatest joy was spending time with his loving wife, Lisa, and his adoring 10 year old daughter, Grace. Brian was an extraordinary husband and father, always going above and beyond for his family, from creating unique "ugly sweaters" for the annual contest at Lisa's school to reading with Grace every night.

Although we can't bring Brian back, let's try and help alleviate some of the short and long term financial pressure resulting from his loss. Lisa is a public school teacher, now facing life as a single mom. Brian would very much appreciate every bit of help that his community can offer.
