In memory of Bruce Kracke Jr.

Friends, thank you for your previous donation to Bruce's memorial. BUT . . .this is a take two . So much has happened since we lost Bruce and I didn't read the small print of transferring funds and their emails went to SPAM, jeeesh! So any funds you generously donated were returned.

If you still feel you'd like to contribute to Teo (or do it again) in the name of his dad we will still be very grateful, thank you.

Hey, I'm Michelle Wirta, Bruce's ex wife, friend, and the mamma of his only son, Teodore Reay Wirta-Kracke. Sadly and unexpectedly, Teo's dad, a.k.a. 'Pabba Boose' passed away 1/19/22 at 58 years young.

 

Teo is truly the biggest love of Bruce's life. No matter what trials and challenges Bruce went through, his devotion to his son was number one. Everyone who knew him admired his deep love and their close relationship.

 

Bruce was the kind of friend who'd give the shirt off his back without hesitation. He's known for being one who stepped up to help others in the ways he could, whether that was in his work in helping the underserved with securing a home, offering a place to crash, fun times for a night of music and friendship, and so much more.

 

He will be very missed by many friends the world over and people who knew that Bruce lived with his huge heart leading the way. Unfortunately, he'd also had a trying last decade or so dealing with mental health issues, brain injuries, and addiction. At times, the weight of the world and past traumas weighed on his sensitive, creative, caring, and musical soul. He persevered as best he could to keep things afloat.

 

Teo, being only 18, is of course grappling with the deep grief of losing his father so young and so suddenly. As his son's mom I'm stepping into helping to organize and handle Bruce's affairs. 

 

I truly believe that Bruce popped this idea in my head to do a memorial fund thru this platform. For all who knew him you know finances were a huge focus of his life, whether that was doing what he could to keep things rolling or in help others do so as well.

 

If you feel so moved, this memorial fund is a way to honor Bruce and for Teo to receive some rainy day savings in honor and memory of his Pabba who's gone from this world and especially his life way, way too soon.
